quasi Ptkl "gewissermaßen" per. Wortschatz fremd. Erkennbar fremd (18. Jh.) Entlehnung. Entlehnt aus l. quasi "wie wenn", zu l. quam "wie", zu l. quī "welcher, was für ein" und l. "wenn". Übernommen in der Kanzleisprache, dann auch - teilweise unter englischem Einfluß - als Präfixoid benutzt (quasi-öffentlich).
   Ebenso nndl. quasi, ne. quasi, nfrz. quasi, nschw. kvasi-, nnorw. kvasi-; Quantität.
